Castlecraft was founded on a simple premise: to solve complex business problems with technology. While we began by customizing ERPNext, we quickly discovered our true calling lay in tackling the deep engineering challenges that others couldn't—or wouldn't—solve.

  • Enterprise-Grade Scaling & Consulting: For one of India's largest conglomerates, we were brought in to resolve a complex scaling challenge that had persisted through earlier initiatives. We provided the expert consulting to help them build a world-class internal team and engineered a solution to autoscale the Frappe Framework on Kubernetes. This engagement grew from one to over twenty mission-critical projects, a testament to our strategic and technical leadership.

  • Rescuing Mission-Critical Data: We have repeatedly stepped in to rescue businesses from data crises. For a renowned Indian trusteeship, we recovered and migrated years of vital history from a proprietary Oracle database after their previous vendor abruptly departed. Similarly, we orchestrated a seamless migration from Salesforce for a leading open-source technology firm, ensuring no data was lost in the transition.

  • Architecting for Extreme Performance: Faced with an ERPNext implementation that was buckling under the load of millions of serialized inventory items, we engineered a specialized, high-throughput service that worked in tandem with the ERP. This solution, which leveraged core framework features like OAuth2 and Webhooks (majorly contributed and maintained by our team), saved the client's business from a critical operational bottleneck.

  • High-Throughput Data Engineering: For a client needing to process and attribute 25 million leads per day, the standard database backend proved insufficient. When their system choked under the sheer volume, we engineered a breakthrough solution. By integrating the Frappe REST API with an analytical database, we created a high-throughput pipeline capable of handling the massive daily ingestion and complex attribution logic, saving the project and enabling their business to scale.

  • Drastic Cloud Cost Optimization: For a major company with over 200 sites across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya, we re-architected their cloud infrastructure, implementing an auto-scaling Kubernetes cluster that reduced their AWS expenditure by over 80%—from 5x redundant capacity to an efficient 1x.
